“He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.”

Text Box: Harlie

Meet Harlie, a beautiful 16 month old Rottweiler bitch.

We are told by her previous owners that Harlie is used to cats, children and is good with other dogs as long as they don't try to overpower her.

She is a loving girl, who likes to give cuddles and kisses, but needs a firm and experienced owner to keep her on the right track.
Text Box: Tye

Meet Tye, a German Shepherd (poss Rotti) cross, who is only between 18 months and 2 years.

This poor fella has been in kennels for over 6 months, and has become a little bit stressed. We were alerted to his situation 3 hours before he was due to be destroyed!

Tye is disgustingly underweight, but such a lovely guy. With a bit of tlc, good food and exercise this handsome man will make someone a superb pet.
CURRENTLY ON HOME TRIAL!
Text Box: Bono

Meet Bono, a Rottweiler aged between 2 and 3 years.

He is arriving at SHAK in the near future, travelling all the way up from Hull. Although he will need a full assessment from us, he is described as being laid back and soft, despite his huge size!

We will keep you posted on his progress when he arrives.
Text Box: Shane

Meet Shane, a German Shepherd cross Rottweiler who is only about 14 months old
He is arriving at SHAK in the near future, having been in kennels for a long time looking for his forever home. Although he will need a full assessment from us, below is a brief description from his current temporary home:

“Just 14 months old and a lovely Rottie X with a GSD
Although black and tan I have a shepherd body
and the character of a German Shepherd.
Shane needs to be an only dog as he's not very good
with other dogs. He’s good with women but shy with men.
Although, man or woman, once he
trusts you he will be your friend for life.
He walks nicely on the lead and will be wormed,
 Vaccinated and flea treated.”

We will keep you posted on his progress when he arrives.
Text Box: Sheeba

Meet Sheeba, a German Shepherd bitch who is about 8.

She arrived at SHAK along with Max and Tara as they were due to be destroyed within 24 hours of us being notified.

Very friendly, and defiantly the apple of Max’s eye, she appears to like the company of other dogs, as long as they don’t try and get too “friendly”

Her new start has prompted her to go on a diet, but wow…..what a lovely girl.
Text Box: Max

Meet Max, an older German Shepherd, that loves too play!

He arrived at SHAK along with Sheeba and Tara as they were due to be destroyed within 24 hours of us being notified.

Playful, loveable and defiantly a ladies man, this big guy needs a bit of work done to build up his muscles, but he is very willing to chase the ball and hosepipes to help you give him a good work out!
Text Box: Tara

Meet Tara, who at just 18 months is still a baby. She has clearly been mistreat, and as a result is very frightened and mistrusting of humans. She does however seem very interested in other dogs, and in time she will learn to trust people again.

The other dog that was due to be destroyed, she travelled up the country alongside Sheeba and Max, and given time and an understanding owner, she will make someone a wonderful companion.
