Text Box: Lola

Lola arrived at SHAK the same day as Max, and has already won a few hearts.

She came to us as another German Shepherd cross, but she is quite small, so now we’re not so sure. Although those beautiful eyes have GSD written all over them.

She is a lovely friendly girl, and very playful off lead. With a small bit of work she will make someone an outstanding play mate.

Text Box: Bentley

Bentley is a big chunky Rottweiler who is approx 7 or 8. He arrived from down the country after being picked up as a stray. He was in serious danger of being destroyed because he is a little bit wobbly on his back legs. No one else would take him, and his entire life was left in limbo.

We feel he deserves a chance to live out his retirement years, rather than have them snatched away from him. We are looking for a permanent foster home, with full SHAK veterinary back up for this handsome, huge guy.
Text Box: Oliver

Oliver is only 7 months old, and the world’s first Weimador! He came to us with quite a reputation, and was due to be destroyed the day he travelled to us.

A Weimeraner cross Labrador, Oliver is a very active boy, and needs a home that will stimulate his brain as well as exercising his body.

Oliver’s Diary
Text Box: Kai

Kai has just landed at SHAK, but is already creating a BIG impression. A real big handsome guy, possibly between 18 months and 2. Our money is on a Rottweiler cross German Shepherd, what do you think?

It’s real early days, but seems to be settled around other dogs, however he does need to learn some manners on the lead.
Text Box: Miko

Miko came to us in bad shape and with a few issues. He is progressing very quickly and is settling in well. He absoloutely adores the ball, and enjoys the simple things in a dogs life.

Because of the way he has been treated in the past, Miko is NOT AVAILABLE FOR HOMING AT THE PRESENT TIME. Please read about his progress at:

Miko’s Story.
Text Box: Duke

Duke is a mastiff (possibly Boxer) cross, who has been badly mistreat in his past. It took days for him to finally get picked up as a stray, as he was so scared and living in bushes next to a
motorway. He is still nervous of strangers, but once he knows you he is a big beautiful, playful lad. Very much a work in progress, Duke needs a very understanding and experienced home.

Duke’s Diary.
Text Box: Otto

Otto is an older Malinois (Belgian Shepherd) who adores people. He is approx 7 years old, and loves giving out kisses and cuddles.

Malinois are a very highly strung breed, and Otto is looking for an experienced home, preferably with this particular breed.

Text Box: Bobby

Bobby is a lovely young Rottweiler male with his tail.

He arrived at SHAK alongside Morgan, and is a great influence on him.

We think Bobby is about 18 month’s old, and will keep you posted on how he progresses.

Bobby’s Diary
Text Box: Otto (Yes Another)

Otto is one I fell in love with as soon as I saw those ears.

He is a little hand shy, but still young enough to settle. Approx 2 years old, Otto has been really messed around in the last couple of months. He is desperate for somewhere he can finally call home again.
