In Summer 2007 Oskar and Lacy completed the Great North Dog Walk. Both are former Rescue Dogs, and helped raise valuable funds to help find other dogs loving homes and happiness like they have done. Both are looking forward to doing it again this year!
In September 2007, more money was raised by me getting my chest and stomach waxed! It was the most pleasant method of fundraising, but it made over £200 to help towards the upkeep of all the animals saved by SHAK |

We desperately need funds to keep all of animals in temporary homes, until we find the right person to give them the second chance they so deserve.
As little as £5 keeps them safe and secure for another day whilst they wait…..

We had a great weekend at Pets At Home in Cramlington (10&11th May 2008) Not only did we raise a lot of money that will go towards continuing to save lives, but we also made a few new friends. All the dogs got a great amount of interest, with hopefully Holly & Tory both finding new homes.

It was Great North Dog Walk time again on the 15th June 2008. We had another great day, met lots of friends, new & old, aswell as raising some funds! Sasha, Nova and JJ all enjoyed a well deserved day out, and Nova made the most of it, doing the walk twice & finding a new family!
