Can I firstly take this opportunity to:

 

"SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED HARLIE IN HER MOMENT OF NEED!"

 

She has had her operation today (29.08.08), and despite being in intense discomfort, is still her loveable, cuddling self.

 She continues to rub you legs, but I'm sure thats just to try and get her buster collar off!

 

Also a BIG THANK YOU to Westways vets, who decide when shen was under anaesthetic,

 to operate on her upper eyes lids too at no further cost!

 

She is now back home with her foster dad Gregg, and lets all pray that she  will start to get the good fortune she so deserves.

 

I have included a picture of her that was taken as she was picked up from the vets. I apologise if anyone finds it disturbing.

- - - HARLIE UPDATE 11/09/2008 - - -

 

Just a quick update on Harlie. She was at the vets yesterday, and they have given her the all clear as far as her eyes are concerned! As you can see, those beautiful brown eyes are back to their former glory!

She was a little bit grumpy yesterday, but the vet thinks that’s down to the irritation of the stitches and general healing etc, as well as the obvious pain.

Please all pray that she’s finally turned the corner, and THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO MADE HER OP POSSIBLE!
